MISS INTERCONTINENTAL 2005 RESULTS
Emmarys Pinto from Barquisimeto, Venezuela, won the Miss Intercontinental 2005 beauty
pageant held in Huangshan, China, on July 30th. The 1st runner-up was Sarianna
Kankaristo from Finland (left) and the 2nd runner-up was Shauntavia Loo from
Norway (right). Completing the Top 5 finalists were Anush Grigoryan (Armenia)
and Saritza Alvarado (Puerto Rico).

With the celebration of the 34th edition of the Miss Intercontinental pageant, this international event assures a secure spot in a top five ranking regarding pageants Worldwide.
This year, 67 beauties from all the continents have united in Huangshan, China for three weeks of travel and tourism, finalizing on July 30th, when 15 finalists will be selected in the World Final Competition.
The travel itinerary includes other cities like Shanghai, Hang Zhou and Hefei, China. The beauties have already graced local and international newspapers with their presentations in charity events, galas and press conferences.

16.07.2005 - Today Miss Caucasus 2005 contest will be held in Yerevan. Some 15 girls from Armenia,
Georgia, Russia and Nagorno Karabakh will participate in Miss Commonwealth, Miss
Tourism, Miss Top Model, Miss Photo Model, Miss Charm, Miss Bikini and Miss of
Caucasus Disco nominations. Jury includes directors of regional beauty contest
agencies, foreign ambassadors to Armenia. In the words of Miss Caucasus 2005
Office Director Arman Artonyan, the contest aims at uniting representatives
of all Caucasian countries and has not only cultural, but also political character.
It promotes solution of diverse political problems in the Caucasian region.
The contest is organized with the financial support of Yerevan Administration.
The holder of the Miss Caucasus 2005 title will represent Caucasus at many
international beauty contests both of Europe and the world. Best participants of
the contest will have the opportunity to take part in shooting clips and trailers,

Miss CANADA, Natalie Glebova CROWNED MISS UNIVERSEO2005
DURING LIVE NBC TELECAST on May 30th
Bangkok, Thailand, May 30, 2005 -This evening, during one of the year's most exciting live television events, a star-studded panel of judges chose Natalie Glebova, Miss Canada, as MISS UNIVERSEO2005.
The 23-year-old delegate from Toronto was crowned at the conclusion of the 54th Annual broadcast on NBC LIVE from Bangkok, Thailand. Natalie Glebova is a model and motivational speaker to grade school and high school students.
Miss Universe 2005 was chosen by an international judging panel which included: Queer Eye for the Straight Guy's Carson Kressley; Executive Producer of NBC hit shows including "Friends" and "Joey," Kevin Bright; "Days of Our Lives" star, Bryan Dattilo; Vice President, Global Cosmetics and Marketing, Procter & Gamble, Anne Martin; Hair Stylist to the stars, Louis Licari; World-Renowned Chef and former Bangkok resident, Jean Georges Vongerichten; Danish Model Heidi Albertsen, Supermodel Cassie Lewis; Telemundo Latin Superstar, Mario Cimarro; Model and Former Miss Ukraine Universe, Alexandra Nikolayenko; Executive Vice President, Director, Boon Rawd Brewery Co., Ltd, Chutinant "Nidnoi" Bhirombhakdi and Miss Universe 1988 from Thailand, Porntip "Bui" Nakhirunkanok Simon. Access Hollywood's Nancy O'Dell and Billy Bush, hosted the worldwide event.
Throughout the two-hour event, the delegates competed in three categories, swimsuit, evening gown and interview. During these competitions the "Top Five" finalists were selected before the crowning. Jennifer Hawkins, Miss Universe 2004, crowned her successor at the conclusion of the two-hour primetime telecast, before an estimated worldwide viewing audience of more than 600 hundred million in over 180 countries.
Final Results:
First Runner Up: Miss Puerto Rico, Cynthia Olavarria will assume the duties of MISS UNIVERSE 2005 if the titleholder for some reason cannot fulfill her responsibilities.
Second Runner Up: Miss Dominican Republic, Renata Sone

The great beauty festival, "Miss Europe 2005 will take place in Paris on March 12, 2005. It is participated by Armenian beauty 18 year old Lusine Tovmasyan, the winner of "Miss Armenia 2003" and many other competitions.
"Miss Europe" is one of the most reputable beauty contests of the world. During previous competitions Armenian beauties managed to occur in the top 15s but this year "Miss Armenia" national agency expects Lusine Tovmasyan to be in the top 5.
Armenian beauty will take part in the preparatory phases of the contest. Public Television of Armenia, sponsoring Lusine in the contest, is given the exclusive right of broadcasting "Miss Europe 2005" Live from Paris.
